So some of you may remember my short discussion on my recently discovered neighbors…
Last night, my roommate informed our apartment manager about the nest on the patio. We figured as our landlord, he would call maintanance or an exterminator himself to take care of it… that way we wouldn’t have to pay for one ourselves when it’s supposed to be the landlord’s duty.
Instead, he went out on our patio with a giant broomstick and decided to attack it on his own. Eeeek!
Well, he returned unharmed… surprisingly. The nest is now laying around on our patio instead of hanging from the old tree-like sculpture my former roommate left behind.
Most of the wasps are gone. There are still a few lingering… or perhaps they are dead… or maybe they’re just playing dead.
In any case, let’s hope the majority don’t return.
