Ear Worms!
Ear worms are those annoying little songs that get stuck in your head. Sometimes they are the last song you hear on the radio before you go into the office, sometimes they just randomly pop in.
1. What is a common ear worm that you get?
2. How long do they last?
3. What do you do to get rid of them?
4. What is the worse ear worm you’ve ever had?
5. Do you get some guilty pleasure in passing the ear worm along?

Black Friday!
I forgot why I love today, and I forgot why I hate today. I forgot what the madness was like. I forgot why I usually choose to stay in my cave instead.
Today, I was heading back from North Hollywood, and decided to make a lunch stop at Koji’s for old times sake… grab some spicy tuna rolls and a salad. While at the Hollywood and Highland center, I was drawn in by Sephora… ended up buying some stuff– but hey! I saved 50% and got some FREE eyeshadow! haha
Then the madness began. I realized I was surrounded by ridiculous amounts of people on a frenzy for holiday shopping… plus the usual tourists that that area attracts. ALL I WANTED TO [...]
In the spirit of Thanksgiving– a recipe for cranberry jelly:
Hello everyone!
First of all, I hope everyone is enjoying their holiday today. I am currently sitting in my friends’ kitchen/dining area, trying to catch up on emails and blogs.
While doing my usual daily read of my favorite author’s (Neil Gaiman, for those who haven’t caught on yet) blog.. he has posted how to make cranberry jelly!
So for those who still need to make something… go check it out here, dash to your local grocery store before it closes, grab your ingredients, and get to cookin’!
Speaking of cooking… I guess I should get off of the gadgets now and start helping!
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!!!

Full Story »Thankful…
Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy early Thanksgiving!
I am quite thankful of my ridiculously supportive parents… my friends… all of my supporters/fans/whatever you want to call yourselves… my coworkers and bosses… my life.
I’ve come a long way to get here, and I still have a long way to go… Sometimes I’m just lucky… Either way, I’m grateful for it all.
What are you thankful for?
Aside from the sappy stuff… what is everyone doing for the holiday tomorrow?
I am about to head out to North Hollywood to spend a couple of days with my friends (and soon-to-be neighbors!) Taylor and Sara. There will be plenty of movie-watching, monster-making, and feasting to be had!!

Florida ban on gay adoptions ruled unconstitutional
A Miami-Dade circuit judge Tuesday declared Florida’s 30-year-old ban on gay adoption unconstitutional, allowing a North Miami man to adopt two foster kids he has raised since 2004.
In a 53-page order that sets the stage for what could become a constitutional showdown, Circuit Judge Cindy Lederman permitted 47-year-old Frank Gill to adopt the 4- and 8-year-old boys he and his partner have raised since just before Christmas four years ago. A child abuse investigator had asked Gill to care for the boys temporarily; they were never able to return to their birth parents.
”This is the forum where we try to heal children, find permanent families for them so they can get another chance at what every child should know and [...]
