I went to go see the movie over the weekend. Instead of choosing to go right at the midnight release, I chose to avoid all of the chaotic madness and annoying, screeching fangirls (because I made that mistake with one of the Harry Potter flicks before and wanted to slaughter everyone because I could barely even hear the freakin’ movie)… and chose to go at midnight the next day instead.

I must say… that I’m really glad I read the book first. Don’t get me wrong, I didn’t think the movie was bad. I just felt that it jumped around a lot and skipped a lot of the important character development parts. I think if I hadn’t read the book beforehand and already known everything, I probably wouldn’t have liked it at all.

So if you haven’t seen it yet…. read the book first.

I also don’t like who they casted for Rosalie… I like who they picked for Alice… and did anyone else catch the subtle capture of the book cover in the film? I enjoy little things like that…

They’re going to make a movie out of New Moon. I’m honestly hoping they mix it with parts of the Eclipse book, as well… because I kind of hated the second one. Too slow and drawn out for me…

Thoughts??

I thought all of ‘Twilight’ was too slow and drawn out. Plus, Bella is such a vapid, horrid character that it made it difficult to read. She was mostly pathetic, and Edward is nothing more than a psychologically abusive, stalker-type boyfriend.

    Displeased, Stephanie Meyer.
