Coraline things…
Last night I went to go see Coraline in 3D. I started to feel a bit groggy (stupid nonstop L.A. rain finally got to me) beforehand, but I was determined to see this flick on opening night. Nothing was going to stop me! Besides, as I’ve said, I’ve been waiting for this flick for a long, long time (at least as far back as last year’s San Diego Comic-Con).
I was quite pleased on how the film turned out! Amazing. Fantastical. Stupendulous… and I plan on going to see it again very soon. It truly is a piece of art, and for those who have yet to see it, I encourage you to, especially in 3D while you can! You only have a few weeks before the 3D theaters replace it with Jonas Brothers.
Also, don’t forget to stay until the very end after the credits… I made my friends stay with me because I wasn’t budging… and well… MAMA WANTS A NEW PAIR OF SHOES!

On to other Coraline-related things…
I mentioned yesterday that I woke up to a voicemail from Mr. Bobinsky. I wasn’t quite sure how it happened, I figured that somewhere along the line in these past few months, I had signed my number away with my email address. And perhaps that is how it originally happened, perhaps not… but either way, I discovered you can have the amazing Mr. B call your friends, too!
Gaiman had posted links to photos from the premiere and afterparty. Kitty, one of Neil’s assistants, also posted some cool photos from the premiere.
Box office predictions are looking really good for the movie…
There are some fun new posts on the Evil Buttons blog, including photos of a Coraline cupcake!

I want to see the movie badly but I have to wait until Tuesday. I’ve given up on the shoes now.
I hate having to work weekends at times like these.

I saw it last night toooo!
In 2D, though, since the only 3D theater aroudn here is 2 and a 1/2 hours away. I might see it 3D next weekend though. It was so stunning! And sort of freaky. If I were a kid, I probably would have been screaming. But I guess that’s the appeal.
