    I agree with KK! and well… I like the fact that hes talking to fans. Even tho I cant help. I am nowhere near Cali. And at the moment my computer is running on half memory sense one of my memory sticks went bad. My less than a year old laptop is running like a very very old clunker computer. So I cant even search online for him!
    But yea I hafta say.. it’s quite entertaining! LMAO
    He hasnt said anything to me, but I havent been any help either … haha

    Sigh…..big boys and their toys…..

    My brother has a white 70 Trans Am with a blue Phoenix and blue interior. He purchased it from some guy when it was a piece of shit! So me, my brother (who can fix just about anything), and father, (used to be a mechanic), fixed it up really nice! My friend’s husband owns a paint and body shop, and he repainted it and they even redid the interior! When my brother joined the Air Force, he kept the Trans home and I got to drive it for six years! Man, I was THE SHIT driving that muscle machine to college every day! (I live in a college town). Then when he was granted leave to come home to get married, he was restationed in Arizona. He is out now, but still lives there. He didn’t want his “baby” to be driven cross country, so he paid to have it shipped by rail to him. It’s been over 15 years now, and it still looks like new! And for our “friend” who is salivating over one of these puppies….YES! MY BROTHER’S HAD A T-Top!

    I was always sort of the tom boy in our family. I have two very girly sisters who scream at the site of an ant. Me? I’d be fixing up vintage cars with my dad up to my elbows in grease!

    Oh, our friend who is on his quest to find the ultimate Trans is right about one thing: These machines are tough and made of metal and could crunch a “Mini-Van,” or any of today’s cars in a second! Despite not having air bags, (they do have over the shoulder seat belts), I used to babysit my baby cousin. I would strap his car seat in the back of the Trans, and on a nice day, have the T-Top open, and he loved it! Everytime he got fussy, my Aunt would call and say, “Deb! Bring over the Trans! He won’t stop crying!” It is true. If you drive one of these puppies, and you get in an accident, you get out of your car without a scratch, dust yourself off, and say, “So, how’s the other driver? Why is his car all scrunched up like that?”

    So, having driven one for those six glorious years, I kind of know how G feels. I cursed the day my brother came home for the wedding and I curse the United States Air Force for stationing him so far away! Even though I fly out to visit him a few times a year, (and get to drive the Trans), I curse Arizona too! Here is the irony of it all: He lives in Phoenix! How appropriate.

    Sigh….I miss that car….maybe my brother too……oh who am I kidding…I MISS THAT CAR!!!

    I now drive a Dodge Ram 1500 Pick Up, (I ride horses, and have to haul them to various shows that I compete in, so my truck has great muscle power to pull the trailer)!

    Like I said, I was always the tom boy. Playing in grease, going to Air shows with my Dad, (he too was in the Air Force – he and my brother were Air Traffic Controlers), out riding horses or mucking the stalls, and when I was little, I gave the Barbie that my folks gave me for Christmas to my sister. Why? Because I wanted what my brother got! A GI Joe, with fuzzy crew cut hair, action grip & parachute! Fortunately, my B-day is in January. My dream came true when I opened my gift and looking back at me was GI Joe!

    The only girly thing I love to do is bake. My Grandmother lived with us, and was the best baker! I loved to hang in the kitchen and talk with her, and learned how to bake from scratch!

    I’m probably one of the few girls out there that love muscle cars and drives a muscle truck! And yes, I still have my GI Joe!

    I gave G a site from one of my dad’s friends who deals in vintage cars that had 79 Trans Ams that are up for sale, (in G’s requested colors), in the LA area. I gave him the info on Twitter. Hopefully he got it, though I am sure it is lost amoung all 1 million hits he was getting from the MCR fans, (which I happen to be).

    If he can’t find one, I’m flying out to Arizona, stealing my brother’s car and parking it in the lobby of Warner Brothers so Jeff Watson can get it to him! :)

    G’s a great guy though! I had a chance to meet him and the band, (and Frank’s wife) at a couple of shows. What a great group of guys! They were so nice! All kidding aside, it’s pretty cool that G is invinting his fans in to help him find the car. That’s pretty awesome in my book!

    I am also really happy that G and his wife, (who is absolutely beautiful), are expecting their first child. It’s the best feeling when you hold your newborn in your arms for the first time. My newborn is now 18. :) I’m just really exicted for them! They will be excellent parents, no doubt!

    Oh, I made red velvet cup cakes with a butter cream frosting for my friend’s birthday! Man were they good! I found a recipe on line. It was from one of your posts that made me think of the red velvet cup cakes! :)

    Well, have an awesome rest of the night, and I hope the weather stays nice out there for ya! I’m in Pennsylvania. It’s 49 degrees. Yick!
