So I spent this morning at Walt Disney Animation Studios, previewing The Princess & The Frog. I was already pretty stoked when I was told that I had been approved by the producers to see it, but I honestly wasn’t really sure what to expect.
Although I am obviously not allowed to go into full blown detail, what I can say is… OH. MY. GOD. This movie was seriously AMAZING!! Everything about it… from the comeback of the 2D animation, the coloring, the storyline, the characters, and the music. There wasn’t a single moment that I thought it might have been too cheesy or something didn’t make sense. In fact, I spent the entire time in my seat with my heart pounding. It definitely brought back the kid in me.
I even got a little teary-eyed during a good handful of the scenes. In fact, it has left me in the best mood ever for the remainder of the day. I was pretty much glowing when I got back into the office afterwards.
I encourage all of you to go see this as soon as you can! You won’t be disappointed. In fact, I will probably go see it again once the official releases happen so I can see the full-on finished piece!
