I had no idea that this was being made. I loved the original, in all it’s campy glory and I think it will benefit the remake treatment. It was definitely trying to be something more back in 81 (gosh I’m old)!!

What a cast too…you can’t not have Pete Postlethwaite in something and it NOT be good. Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes as well! I’ll be excited to see this one!

I’ll admit, when I first heard they were remaking this, I was pretty bummed… because honestly, although not ALL remakes are bad, lately, MOST of them haven’t been the greatest.

However, after seeing this teaser trailer, I have hope again.

And don’t worry, I grew up on the classic, too. So if you’re old, so am I.

UH SO EXCITED FOR THIS. I didn’t know the teaser was out yet until you posted. I can’t wait! I loved the original, and I think this will definitely do it justice. Just look at the cast!!!
