Last Night’s Vice

This press release and digital package mysteriously landed in my Inbox today. I took a moment to check these guys out, happen to like what I heard, and as always, I thought I’d share. Where were these guys when I lived in Missouri?

RELEASE DEBUT CD, “PERFECT LITTLE NOISE”

ST. LOUIS, August 5, 2010 – They’ve created the most intense live show in St. Louis and mastered a danceable sound that blends disco groove with hair metal intensity and pop sensibility; now alt rockers Last Night’s Vice are proud to release their first full-length CD, Perfect Little Noise. LNV is home to the soulful and powerfully-driven voice of Brandon House, guitar masters Joe Fitzsimmons and Jordan Phoenix and the hip-thumpin’ rhythm section of bassist Chris Blake and drummer Andrew Ghiassi. Perfect Little Noise, produced by Ghiassi, features 11 tracks and will be officially released on August 31, 2010 through most online retailers.

“This CD is basically a culmination of all the songs we have recorded over the last four years. We made a list of all of them and decided to pick the best ten,” says Fitzsimmons. “At the last second we wrote a new song called ‘Gin and Tonic’ and rushed into the studio to record it and added it to the CD. We also have three exclusive digital downloads that fans can get from iTunes. We wanted to use these as ‘B-Sides’ for fans that want more of our music.”

Last Night’s Vice recently wrapped their first music video as well (filmed and edited by Anthony Meadows) for the CD’s first single, “Lock and Key.”

The band will celebrate the release of Perfect Little Noise with several big shows in St. Louis including PointFest, an annual showcase concert sponsored by local radio station 105.7 The Point, on August 14 and their own CD Release show at Pop’s Nightclub on August 27. In September, the boys make their way out West to play a series of shows in Hot Topic stores as well as a gig at the Viper Room in Hollywood.
