Elissa (or Miss E) and I first met shortly after I moved to Los Angeles through a mutual friend at the time. The funny thing was, for the longest time, she thought I hated her, and I thought she hated me. When we both got past our then social anxiety, we managed to become great friends and continue to grow together.
