I am determined to document the scene and its participants, show the inner workings of the genre and what it will eventually evolve into. The notion to document this genre was conceived in 2008 after reading a blog post with the same title ‘Electro Wars’ featured on the Hipster Runoff. The post was a sarcastic outlook on electro/house artists in the United States and Europe, and their impact on mainstream music here in the United States. I [...]

Creepiest Coraline doll I’ve seen yet:

So I’ve been a little behind on catching up on my blogrolls. I revisited Evil Buttons today to find what is THE creepiest Coraline doll I have ever seen so far:

WarioWare Papercraft at GDC 2010

This is one of the many reasons I am sad that I’m not at GDC this year:

Nintendo is making a big deal of upcoming Nintendo DS game WarioWare D.I.Y. at this year’s Game Developers Conference, handing out miniature Warios that are not only easy to build, but make a great distraction when people are trying to post.
Curse you, papercraft Wario.

Alice in Wonderland Event: Hollywood, CA

Soooo last Friday was the Alice in Wonderland Ultimate Fan Event in Los Angeles. Since I’m pretty tired right now and need to be up early to work and make it through my usual case of the Mondays, I’m not going to write some ridiculously long entry.
Long story short, my friend/co-worker Beth and I had a splendid time, it was wonderful seeing Bree for a hot minute, saw some amazing costumes, got some nice shots, and ended my night with a free drink (thanks, Swords!) and shabu shabu.
Here are some photos:
They transformed Hot Topic into Wonderland for the event.
The best costumes I saw all night! Bravo!
