I flew into Chicago over the weekend to visit some friends and catch the last show on Five Finger Death Punch’s Share The Welt tour. As I sit here at the airport, editing and resizing photos while I wait on my flight, I thought I might share one of my favorite shots of the night.

This, my friends, is why Zoltan is probably one of my favorite people to shoot on the stage. He’s always lookin’ out for me and works it.

I spent Halloween this year with some of my favorite people and one of my favorite bands… who just so happen to have an epic stage setup that I absolutely needed to photograph and see for myself. Here are a few of the shots:

I recently received an email informing me of the beta of a new artist/talent classifieds site called PlugLocal. I’m always open to looking into new things, so I took a little glimpse at it and am eager to see how it expands in time.

Think Model Mayhem, only (so far) less server issues, lack of skeezy pervs (in my opinion), and not just for models, MUAs, and photographers… but ALL types of artists, directors, musicians, comedians, those renting out studio space, writers, you name it.

Pluglocal was created to support the local talent community. It is a series of free, user driven classified web listings concentrating solely on the promotion of visual and performing arts.

We offer a secure, convenient medium for artists to connect with other artists, promote their particular talent or service, and have their work viewable online. Artists can post short bios, pictures, audio and video clips of their talent. Browse listings by category and location, to easily connect with other artists. Post local events, services, wanted ads or for sale items – absolutely free!

Pluglocal.com is currently in beta, supporting New York, Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco, and Chicago, but will quickly expand to support other local communities. If you’d like to see your city on Pluglocal.com, be sure to let us know!

Phew. Man oh man have I been a busy little girl.

So, long story short, PAX East was AWESOME. Tiring, but awesome. I just wanted to give shoutouts to the following people who made my very first PAX experience a great one (and you should follow all of these Twitter accounts, by the way): Obviously my lovely coworkers at Machinima, Hamza from Destructoid, Ross & Josh from Treyarch, Jeremy & Nik from Kaos/THQ, Zilla from Xbox Live, Joe from Monster Gaming, Dan from Activision, sWooZie, Landon/OptimumForge, Emi and Kyle from Square Enix, Chris from Gearbox, NuckFuggets, SFX-360, Bethesda, and thanks to all of the Machinima fans that came out to our pre-party, our panel, and chased us around at the convention!

I’m back in town now and have been grinding like crazy catching up on office work for the past two days. We had a fun little Homefront live stream today with Nik and Daniel from Kaos/THQ– muchas gracias!

Speaking of livestreams, we’re doing one for Crysis 2 next week.

Then another TBA…

Then Elissa leaves me for two weeks to go on vacation in Paris. This is where I will probably absolutely lose my mind trying to not only do my usual tasks, but cover all of hers at the same time, as well. If you have a great cloning device, please let me know.

Then I return the favor and leave her for about two weeks to take my annual vacation to Hawaii… where E will then lose HER mind and need that cloning device.

Then E3. Then SDCC. Then PAX Prime. Then we hit the Fall season already…. So when I continue to slack on posting, now you know why. O_o
