Weekly Round-Up (07/18/2010 – 07/24/2010)
Yes, I Know I’ve Been Slacking.
Yes, I know I’ve been slacking on posts lately. After E3, I had a few days to take a breather before having to dive back into the madness known as “prepping for Comic Con.” There was also a weekend vacation to Mexico, which is where this picture of me about to drink rattlesnake tequila came from.
So over the weekend, the full schedule for this year’s SDCC was announced. I managed to express the first day panels that I was most interested in the other day. I figured now that I have a few moments, I’ll mention a few for the rest of the days.
DAY 2: There’s a whole bunch of Marvel panels that I may or may not stop [...]
SDCC 2010 – Day 1 Schedule Announced!
It’s that time, kiddos! They have started to announce this year’s Comic Con schedule, and this is where I start to become even more excited for the event than I already have been for the past year.
I am still waiting for my confirmed schedule, and as most of you know, obviously you can’t always make it into the panels that you want. However, I will list the ones I am most excited about for Day 1 and hope that I can manage to pull some of these off inbetween taking care of work, as well:

Full Story »Snoop Dogg – “Oh Sookie”
Uh…. Soooo my coworker sent me this video earlier:
Snoop Dogg –
Because there just hasn’t been enough hype around True Blood’s Season 3* and because we live in a world where worlds inexplicably collide on the internet on a constant basis, we give you Snoop Dogg’s latest video; a tender ode to True Blood’s Sookie Stackhouse called “Oh, Sookie.”
Apparently Snoop Dogg is a huge fan of the HBO series and wanted to share his desire to take Sookie out of Bon Temps, away from that loser Bill, and feed her some Mary-J cookies. Also, he rhymes True Blood with True Bud.
Yeah. What the hell am I watching?

Update on The Crow Reboot
Sigh. So, for those who were also hoping this would just disappear, unfortunately, it’s looking like it’s becoming more and more of a reality. The Crow remake.
According to Geek Tyrant, the reboot will start filming soon. As previously reported, Stephen Norrington (Blade) will be directing it. He’s finished the script and claims this film will be very different in both design and story.
“The setting is the southwest — the Mexico/Arizona area — and an urban [setting], Detroit or Pittsburgh or something like that. There are two locations that the film is set. Its initial platform is in the southwest and then it moves to the big city in the north, middle or eastern America, and then back.”
Yeaaaahh… I’m not really [...]
