So earlier this morning, I caught wind that there is an Alice in Wonderland promotional book package that is getting sent out for the upcoming film. However, the article I found earlier only had a picture of the cover of the box…
Here is video of someone who received one and he goes through the whole thing:
These are almost as cool as the limited Coraline boxes that got sent out last year… AND I WANT ONE! Now… how do I get my hands on such a treasure? (Bosses, I’m kinda lookin’ at you…)

So for those who have known me for years, or for those who have been following me since January, you might remember that I had a Hellish start to 2009. From all of the deaths that I have personally had to deal with, to all of the times I’ve gotten ridiculously sick, to that time that I almost ended up hospitalized, to a handful of other things that just aren’t really worth mentioning anymore… Let’s just say that the first half of this year has by far been the worst I’ve ever had yet.
Fortunately, it was times like these that I was reminded how lucky I really am. It was times like these that I am reminded how lucky I am to have the amazing friends that I do who did an amazing job being there for me and helping to push me back up on my feet when I fell. I had them to remind me that I’ve never been the type of person to just “give up” because things were getting rocky time and time again.
So I pushed forward, no matter what tried to get in my way… and it seemed to pay off in the end. Instead [...]

I don’t think anyone can deny that SDCC is getting bigger and bigger every year. Last year, I went down with a plan and failed and being able to keep up with half of it. I thought that this year, I had outsmarted the system… however, things went a little more chaotic than I had anticipated.
First of all, before anyone puts words in my mouth and jumps down my throat, let me just state for the record that I have done my fair share of “research” on Twilight. I own and have read the first four books. I read the first one before I originally saw the movie. I saw the movie five times, and I even own it. I am far from a “Twihard,” but I’m not an absolute hater, either. I walked into all of it knowing exactly what I was getting into. These books were written to cater to young teens and the idea of romanticism. I get that part. I really do. However, I don’t get the absolute hype of it all. The movie, to me, was just okay, and that is my honest opinion. Did I expect crazed Twilight fans at this year’s convention? Sure [...]

So Day 2 (Friday, July 24th) of this year’s Comic-Con was just announced! (For the full schedule, click here).
As I started to scroll through the list, I was about to say I was all in for the Warner Bros. panel this year, mainly for Nightmare on Elm Street…. however, a few lists later, and I see this:
10:30 AM – 11:30 AM – Coraline— Visionary director and screenwriter Henry Selick (The Nightmare Before Christmas) and Newbery Medal-winning author Neil Gaiman discuss the making of the LAIKA/Focus Features 2009 breakout animated hit film Coraline. In celebration of Universal Studio’s Blu-ray Hi-Def and DVD release of the critically acclaimed stop-motion film, Selick and Gaiman will be joined by lead animator and LAIKA CEO/president Travis Knight, producer Bill Mechanic (CEO of Pandemonium and producer of Dark Water and The New World), character fabrication supervisor Georgina Hayns (Corpse Bride), and voice talent Keith David (Crash). Panelists will offer an in-depth, behind-the-scenes glimpse at how this astonishing and suspenseful adventure—the first stop-motion animated feature originally produced in stereoscopic 3D—was painstakingly brought to life. The panel wis moderated by IGN movies/DVD editor-in-chief Eric Moro. – Room 6A
Considering I am a big Gaiman fan… Freddy Krueger [...]
