So all kinds of celebrities have been attaching themselves to the NOH8 Campaign and the fight against Prop 8 [the ban on gay marriage] lately. It’s growing quite nicely and I couldn’t be more proud of Adam and Jeff. I’m happy to be a part of it.

Fighting for EQUALITY.
Last November, we took a HUGE step back as people when Proposition 8 [the ban on gay marriage] somehow passed in California. Not only were gay marriages banned, but previous marriages when it was legal were about to be nullified.
Yeah, that’s right. Once upon a time, gay marriage was legal here… and we just took that away from them? Again? Really?
Today, the Supreme Court was to decide whether or not Prop 8 would be overturned…. and unfortunately, it was upheld. The only small silver lining to this cloud is that previous gay marriages will not be nullified.
The fight continues…. and we will NOT give up.

The California Supreme Court is expected to rule on Prop 8 this coming Tuesday, May 26th.
