So I normally don’t make New Years resolutions, but hey, it’s 2010. I suppose I should start.
1. Get promoted.
I realize that it was only just a few months ago that I got bumped up from on/off contractor status to full-time contractor status, but I’m thinking with as much work as I’ve been doing for this company in the past 22 months (but especially since I’ve started working full-time)- and from what I’ve been hearing, doing a damn good job of it- I think it’s starting to be that time for a more “permanent” upgrade… and I mean that in the least egotistical way that one can possibly say such a thing. So for those who have known me for years, or for those who have been following me since January, you might remember that I had a Hellish start to 2009. From all of the deaths that I have personally had to deal with, to all of the times I’ve gotten ridiculously sick, to that time that I almost ended up hospitalized, to a handful of other things that just aren’t really worth mentioning anymore… Let’s just say that the first half of this year has by far been the worst I’ve ever had yet.

I decided to take a little time this morning to upload a video from my Hawaii trip in May.
As some of you know, I went out there with Elissa, Alicia, and Karri for my birthday, and a little pre-bachelorette trip for Karri… and well, we all just needed to relax anyway. On my birthday, instead of partying like I do every year, we did something else. We spent a few hours hiking.
