Sigh. So, for those who were also hoping this would just disappear, unfortunately, it’s looking like it’s becoming more and more of a reality. The Crow remake.
According to Geek Tyrant, the reboot will start filming soon. As previously reported, Stephen Norrington (Blade) will be directing it. He’s finished the script and claims this film will be very different in both design and story.
“The setting is the southwest — the Mexico/Arizona area — and an urban [setting], Detroit or Pittsburgh or something like that. There are two locations that the film is set. Its initial platform is in the southwest and then it moves to the big city in the north, middle or eastern America, and then back.”

80s Teen Idol Corey Haim Dead at 38
LOS ANGELES — Actor and former teen idol Corey Haim has died at the age of 38, the Los Angeles Police Department has confirmed to KTLA.
Haim died at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday of an apparent accidental overdose, according to the LAPD’s North Hollywood Division.
Coroner’s Lt. Cheryl MacWillie said an autopsy would determine an official cause of death.
Haim was found unresponsive sometime before 2 a.m. inside a unit at the Oakwood Apartment Complex, located between Burbank and the Hollywood Hills, police said.
He was at home with his mother at the time.
TMZ is reporting that Haim had been sick over the last couple of days with flu-like symptoms and collapsed in front of his mother [...]

So with Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving weekend, and one hell of a busy week at work, I haven’t had the chance to write about this until now.

Oh man.. How sad! According to The Gauntlet, the Key Club on Sunset Strip in Los Angeles will be shutting its doors for good at the end of the month.

Everything is shutting down. Tower Records, Virgin Megastore, Knitting Factory, and now Key Club… what the hell…
