Rockstar released the debut trailer for Grand Theft Auto V this morning. Still no confirmation on when it’s coming out, but it still gets my heart racing.

So it’s set back in “Los Angeles” again. I’m not going to lie, I love it when games do that… and yes, I’m one of those assholes who immediately go looking for their homes in video games set in their city.

Sends chills down my spine.

Due to an overwhelming demand, Portishead have announced a second show in Los Angeles on their North American tour. The second show will take place on October 19, 2011 at The Shrine Expo Hall.

Tickets for this second show will be available for sale this Friday, July 22 here.

Last week Portishead announced their first live tour in North America since 1998. Tickets have been selling rapidly including the show at Los Angeles Shrine Expo Hall on October 18th which sold out in minutes. Due to overwhelmingly popular demand, Portishead have added another show at the Shrine Expo Hall On October 19. The show is presented by 89.9 KCRW.

Tickets are on sale today thru the Portishead website thru Thursday (July 21), and will go on sale to the general public on Friday, July 22nd at 10am PDT.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. It looks BEAUTIFUL. I imagine my first playthrough is going to be full of fail– in the sense that I can often be too trusting and am not always keen on when people are lying. That, or I’m just going to be completely vengeful and paranoid and assume everyone is out to get me.

Either way, I can’t wait to get my hands on this…. and if you’ve been following me on Twitter, yes, I am still upset with myself that the one time I let my blogger email marinate for a week, I get a killer offer and miss my chance to play the game early. Le sigh. Sorry, Rockstar.

It’s a new year, and great things are happening. Late last year, I was looking into new places and found some dream homes that weren’t so dreamy once I looked at them in person. However, this time ’round, I have fallen in love with another place that I was quite pleased with when I checked it out for myself.

Later this month, I will be moving into a one-bedroom apartment (with a loft!) in a much nicer, more pleasant area:

The complex is completely secured and has some beautiful amenities:
- pool
- sauna
- 3 hot tubs
- 2-story gym
- BBQ pits
- laundry rooms
- raquetball courts

It is also across the street from a pretty park with a running track in case I want to do my jogging outdoors. Oh, and did I mention my apartment has a fireplace, as well?

Yeah, I’m pretty stoked. Packing begins this weekend!

The mix tape drops February 9th and they will also be playing a release show the same night at Cinespace in Hollywood, CA.
