For those who didn’t make the panel last week, or missed out on SDCC completely, or just plain haven’t seen this yet, here’s a new announcement from Jack Sparrow himself:

SDCC 2010: Who Wants to Get ‘Buried’ at Comic-Con?
HO…LY…. CRAP.
So to promote the upcoming film Buried, Lionsgate’s promotional tactic is to offer attendees to find themselves six feet under while onlookers of their website can watch footage of their reactions.
Lionsgate is located at both #3729… and you can count me in.
If I suddenly disappear, start with them.
SDCC 2010: Get Your Taco Made by Robert Rodriguez!
So in case you haven’t heard already, this year at Comic-Con, there will be a Machete panel and party and… get ready for it… TACO TRUCK.
Yes, that’s right folks. You can get your taco made by Robert Rodriguez and part of the cast of the film! This will be happening from 5 to 8 PM on Day 1 (Thursday) at Five Star Parking on Fifth Avenue and J Street.
Following the taco truck shenanigans, Fox will hold their panel, and then the party!
This is so silly, I might just have to stop by.
SDCC 2010: Sweet Treats Truck Handing Out Free Ben & Jerry’s!

Star Wars Subway Car
This is pretty genius. Just in time for the Comic Con spirit!
For our latest mission, we staged a reenactment of the first Princess Leia / Darth Vader scene from Star Wars on a New York City subway car.
This is one of over 100 different missions Improv Everywhere has executed since 2001 in New York City. Others include the Frozen Grand Central, the Food Court Musical, and the famous No Pants Subway Ride, to name a few. Visit the website to see tons of photos and video of all of our work, including behind the scenes information on how this video was made.

Upcoming TRON: Legacy Toys!
I don’t know about you, but I’m rather impressed:
“TRON: Legacy is a cutting-edge film with a unique futuristic feel, and we wanted to create products with new technology and high-end design that live up to what you will see on screen”
These will be showcased at SDCC next month, and ready for retail in October!
TRON Bearbrick Announced as SDCC 2010 Exclusive
Heads-up!
So a TRON Bearbrick has been announced as one of this year’s Comic-Con’s exclusives. No picture has been released yet, and the price is still TBA.
Sad day at SDCC ’09:
Waking up and realizing that the Disney 3D panel is in the same room as the New Moon panel– that people were waiting for since YESTERDAY MORNING.
Pretty much convinced my only way of getting in here is if my co-workers stumble across an extra panel pass at the last minute.

Full Story »Greetings from San Diego: SDCC ’09 Preview Night
Hello, hello!
So, apparently there is something wrong with my email on my G1 and it no longer wants to connect; so the entire time I thought I was tweeting photos from today… none of them went through.
Today was absolute madness. I’ve never been to preview night before, but I never imagined it’d be as packed as a typical Friday. We picked up our badges, ran into Jon [Rivera] and Nick [DeStefano], then headed inside to check things out a bit. Met back up with my other friends… and headed to the Activision [...]
